Privacy Policy
Who we are
Scavine Health Technology Inc. is a health technology company registered in Ontario, Canada. We operate three products: Caregiver Comp, NutriEat, and Vinuel Health Journal.
What we collect
Across our products we may collect: your name, email address, and password when you register; usage data; health-related data you voluntarily enter; device type, OS, and app version; and approximate location where relevant.
How we use your data
To provide, operate, and improve our products; personalise your experience; send service communications; run anonymised analytics; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
Your rights
You may access and download your data at any time from Settings, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and all associated data, withdraw consent for non-essential data processing, and port your data in machine-readable format.

Terms of Service
Agreement
By creating an account with any Scavine product, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use any Scavine product.
Not medical advice
Scavine products provide health information, tracking, and coordination tools. Nothing constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
Intellectual property
All Scavine product code, design, trademarks, and content are owned by Scavine Health Technology Inc. Your own data and journal entries remain yours.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Scavine Health Technology Inc. is registered.
Subscription Terms
Product pricing
Caregiver Comp: $9.00/month or $86.40/year. NutriEat: $9.00/month or $60.00/year. Vinuel Health Journal: $9.00/month or $60.00/year.
Free trials
3-day trial for NutriEat and Vinuel; 7-day trial for Caregiver Comp. No credit card required to begin.
Cancellation
Cancel any time from Settings. Access continues until end of current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
Price changes
We will notify you at least 30 days before any price change by email and in-product notification.
Health Data Policy
Why we treat it differently
Health data is among the most sensitive personal data that exists. Scavine applies additional technical and organisational safeguards beyond general personal data.
Storage and encryption
All health data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3, stored on secure, dedicated servers.
No advertising use
Your health data is never used for advertising targeting. It is never sold, licensed, or transferred to insurers, employers, or any third party without your explicit written consent.
Deletion
You can delete specific entries or your complete health data history from Settings. Full deletion takes effect within 72 hours.
AI Policy
Where we use AI
NutriEat uses machine learning to generate nutrition scores and suggest alternatives. Vinuel uses pattern detection to surface correlations in your health journal entries.
Your data stays yours
AI analysis runs on your own data only. Your personal health data is never used to train shared machine learning models.
Not a medical tool
AI-generated insights are clearly labelled as observations, not diagnoses. Our AI does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or make clinical decisions.
Opt out
You may turn off AI-powered features in any Scavine product at any time from Settings.
Acceptable Use Policy
Permitted use
Scavine products are for personal, family, and organisational health management.
Prohibited use
You may not collect health data about individuals without their informed consent, reverse-engineer or scrape any product database or codebase, create fake accounts or fraudulent care relationships, or use our products to harass or monitor another person without their consent.
